Here are some helpful tips for keeping your vehicle in good shape:
  • Have your oil and filter changed every 3000 miles. Check your oil and transmission fluid from time to time, and especially before long trips.
  • Have your tires rotated and brakes checked every 6000 miles. Make sure that your tires have the correct air pressure as noted in your owner's manual. Check your tire treads for excess or uneven wear. Remember, a tire blowout can be a very dangerous situation.
  • Make sure that your vehicle's coolant level is at the proper level. (Most vehicles have a "min" and a "max" coolant mark on the coolant reservoir. Your coolant level should fall between these marks).
  • Make sure other fluid levels are sufficient (brake fluid, power steering fluid).
  • Have your belts and hoses checked for wear when your car is in for maintenance. Cracked or loose belts tend to produce a squealing noise.
  • If you have an older vehicle, ask one of our experts for vehicle-specific maintenance advice. One timely conversation could mean extra miles for your vehicle.
Consult your vehicle's owner's manual for additional maintenance information.
